All about you

Love is the way that I be feeling you
Savoring your kisses when I’m into you

Taking my time
like there ain’t nothing better
me and you

Getting lost in every moment that I’m
touching you

I gotta lay my face against that softest
part
of you

Smell your hair, and press my fingers
in the wet
of you

Intoxicated with the heat
from your honeydew

Salivating,
so delicious:
just the thought
of you

I tell you that I love you
And you know it’s true
But you be worried bout what
tomorrow brings to you

Is there a future in these moments that I spend
with you

Or is this
just a temporary rendezvous?

De ja vu –

it seems like you been here before,
ain’t you?

Giving up the goods to get a promise,
and you
Are feeling nervous bout the possibility
that you knew

You shoulda held back a little,
fore I got to you

Cuz now your head is spinning
and
your heart hates you

Cuz again
it pays the price for listening
to you

Am I a bad man for letting you
Love this, too?

Cuz I enjoyed every minute?
Wasn’t I s'posed to?

I mean, its you we’re talking bout:
My dream come true

But not my only dream
And that doesn’t sit right with you

Cuz what we do
Should just be
It must be
To trust me

To be in love with you and you alone
When it was lust

See,
When we were havin fun you never asked me
To see me

You wanted something you went fishing for
And thought you’d catch me

But when your line broke
And you choked
on the truth that hit you

You couldn’t fathom
it was not
All about you

Because I pretended in you

Like a fan blowing cool air on my face in the heat of summer,
you were a drink of water
Relieving me from the desert of my frustrations,
Having hunted too often in the open
Making my scent familiar to my prey

Yet you were drawn to my eyes
Sensing the hunger within me and
Unafraid to give yourself to me
For my satisfaction

And once I had tasted you,
My savagery bled away.

You tamed me with your sacrifice
Knowing the flesh was nothing to give anyway

I was the beast, heavy headed in your lap
While you stroked my thoughts into
Tranquil imaginings of what love must be

And while I dreamed
You found my heart
And dug your fingers deep into it
While I, drugged with your pleasure, only winced
Feeling myself bleeding, disbelieving the pain you smiled upon me
Because I pretended in you.

Blue fruit

Deep purple stained her fingertips and her lips and her tongue

While leafy shadows danced on the sidewalk

and trees played in the beautiful sparkle of sunshine

"Here." She said

putting the berry to my lips and

smiling with a sweetness that made me open my mouth

she looked like she was from India

an ocean of black hair braided neatly over one bare

bronze shoulder

and eyes that looked like bright black marbles

kissed by God's happiness

the berry burst in my mouth

juice splashing onto my taste buds

almost as delicious as kissing her

soft smooth lips and

tasting the wet fire of her tongue

when her fingertips touch me

the warm breeze on the back of my neck

spreads all over me

and my heart aches wonderfully

blessed because she loves me

and our laughter tickles the air

as we run back to our blanket and

fall back kissing, the sun in our faces

and the juice of sweet blue fruit still on our lips
